Selama ini saya kalau download linux biasanya di situs-situs luar, seperti linuxpackages atau sourceforge. Dan sudah pasti lama. Apalagi kalau kebetulan koneksi warnetnya lagi kacau, wasalam.
Ternyata banyak juga server lokal yang menyediakan software-software lokal. Salah satunya di situs kambing milik UI. Situs ini lumayan lengkap, apalagi untuk distro Ubuntu. Tapi sayang, di sini nggak ada zenwalk terbaru, yang sekarang sudah sampai versi 4.8. Padahal di rumah saya pake distro ini.
Untung ada yang ngasih tahu bahwa ada juga server di Indonesia yang menyediakan linux dan sebangsanya, yaitu di FOSS-ID. Dan ternyata di sini ada zenwalk! Bahkan lengkap, sangat lengkap malah.
Kalau mau langsung sedot, ke sini saja.
